Short bio

Georgios Mitsopoulos is a Dr. Mechanical Engineer at NTUA with specialization in RES / Energy Efficiency technologies applications with emphasis on the building sector. He deals with the design / implementation of projects in the private sector, while he actively participates in the design & implementation of co-financed European research programs (eg Interreg, MED, EEA Grants, Horizon, etc.) that (among others) implement ostentatious innovative projects in buildings public sector infrastructure. He has carried out over 200 energy inspections. He has a PhD in the Heat Department of the NTUA School of Mechanical Engineering for the modeling of nZEBs buildings, he has two master’s degrees in Energy and Business Administration and over 18 publications in international scientific journals and conferences. He speaks Greek, English and German.
